Assembly Operator

Panalok Ltd is a Stanley Black and Decker Company, based in Ennis, Co. Clare. We have over 30 years of experience in producing hi-spec, high volume precision fasteners on Davenport & Wickman Multi Spindle Automatic Screw Machines, Browne & Sharpe Index single Spindle Automatics, CNC Lathes. and CNC Citizen L20E Sliding Head.

We operate from a 20,000 sq. ft. purpose built factory, located in the Gort Road Industrial Estate, Co. Clare, Ireland, about 5 minutes from Exit 14 off the M18 and within 15 minutes of Shannon International Airport.

We supply a wide variety of industry sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, Healthcare, Computer, Electronic and Electrical appliance manufacturers, Plastic Mouldings companies and OEMs.

Due to our continued expansion and a growing customer portfolio, we now have exciting opportunities for motivated individual to work within assembly department in Ennis, Co Clare.

Job Duties:

· Strong attention to detail and conscientious/thorough approach to assigned tasks.

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment producing quality work to a high standard.

· Be flexible, proactive, show initiative, teamwork & commitment.

· High level of initiative and self-motivation.

· Fluent English is a requirement.

· The Production Assembly Operative will be required to work in the assembly area of the factor. The role will involve assembling metal and Aluminium components and working as part of a team in the assembly tasks within the section.

· Experience assembling small hardware items and handheld assembly components, small use of handheld power tools will be required.

· Manual handling will be required as part of the role and you must be physically capable of carrying out manual handling tasks to include lifting, push, pulling, carrying loads.

· Overtime may be required occasionally.

· Able to communicate and work with people in various departments.

· Required to be able to service/maintain machinery plus cleaning /housekeeping duties.

· A good general knowledge and ability to operate safely and efficiently is required.

· A Person with mechanical knowledge would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team that thrives on creativity and challenges. You will form an integral part of a collaborative team, where strong communication skills are vital.

Responsibilities:

After training, the ideal candidate should be able to do the following:

Skilled CNC Machinist with a proven track record in precision engineering
Proficient in CNC machining processes and operating machinery to produce high-quality components
Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high precision standards
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail in a high-volume environment, good observation skills.

Essential Requirements:

English speaking essential, both verbal and written.
Very Strong Mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and Quality inspection sheets.
Willingness to learn and strong level of enthusiasm.
Must be available to work various shift patterns and overtime where required.
Must demonstrate high level of compliance of the health and safety standards.
Reliable and punctual.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 39 per week

Machine Operator

Panalok Ltd. (A CAM & SBD Company) are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our Manufacturing team in Ennis Co. Clare. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team that thrives on creativity and challenges.

You will form an integral part of a collaborative team, where strong communication skills are vital.

Responsibilities:

After training, the ideal candidate should be able to do the following:

To achieve production targets set by the area manager.
Achieve a quality production consistently.
Removing machined parts from production machine, cleaning the part and ensure there is no FOD (Swarf) present.
Filling in machine documentation both manually and onto the ERP (M1) system.
Loading bar stock into production machines efficiently.
Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards.
Be accountable for running 2 production machines.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail in a high-volume environment, good observation skills.
