Panalok Ltd is a Precision Engineering business based in Ennis Co. Clare in the West of Ireland.
Our primary focus is machining hi-spec, high volume precision fasteners on Davenports and CNC for the Aerospace Industry.
We operate from a 20,000 sq. ft. purpose-built factory and we have AS9100 and ISO9001 accreditation.

1st Aerospace shipment to US customers

Charlie Coughlan’s journey from a small farm in Limerick to founding Panalok in 1985 is a testament to hard work and innovation. Growing up on a farm instilled in Charlie a strong work ethic and hands-on experience that laid the foundation for his future success.
After completing his education in Limerick, Charlie joined SPS Shannon in 1960 as one of its first six employees. Here, he gained invaluable skills and knowledge, particularly with the Unbreco brand of fasteners. These early experiences sparked Charlie’s passion for the aerospace industry and set the stage for his entrepreneurial venture.
In 1985, with a vision to manufacture high-quality aerospace products, Charlie founded Panalok, originally named Coughlan Aerospace Fasteners. The company started as a small venture with a big dream: to provide the aerospace industry with reliable, innovative fastening solutions.
Under Charlie’s leadership, Panalok grew into a trusted name in the industry. We specialize in manufacturing a wide range of aerospace fasteners and components, known for their precision, durability, and reliability. Our products are used in various critical applications, ensuring the safety and performance of aircraft worldwide.
Panalok’s commitment to excellence extends beyond our products. We invest heavily in research and development to stay at the forefront of technological advancements. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are equipped with the latest machinery and technology, enabling us to produce high-quality products that meet and exceed industry standards.
After decades of dedication and hard work, Charlie decided it was time to pass the torch. In 2021, he sold Panalok to CAM, ensuring that the company would continue to thrive and innovate under new leadership. The sale marked a new chapter for Panalok, allowing it to expand its reach and capabilities while staying true to the values and vision that Charlie established.
